To be fair, April Daniels has a straw-portrayal of gendercrits as gender-essentialists in her stories.
I take it that the film of the same name, is not, in the words of “Tom the Dancing Bug”, a “substitute for reading the text or for classroom discussion of the text.” Amazon wants silly money for used copies.

I saw this ad in one of those blocks that mixes internal links with ads in what I can only imagine is an attempt to trick people into thinking are legitimate articles.
The implication here seems to be that her appearance doesn’t match preconceived notions of how someone that age should look. I think there is plenty of criticism to level at tabloid pieces like this, not the least of which is that the vast majority of these are targeted at women. What I find most baffling is that whoever wrote this thought it would be more compelling if they lied and inflated her age by 25 years.

Born a sex defined by gamete size and/or vulnerability to pregnancy, and socialized into a social role. They reject the idea of inner gender or subconscious sex.
As opposed to “You are the purest distillation of an evil that has haunted half the human race since the priests killed the G*ddess.”

My pet peeve about celebrity clickbait is that they use “partner” in a calculated manner. Some men and women have husbands. Some men and women have wives. And some men and women have business partners, but then why would you live with a business partner?
