Maybe she should have talked to her parents or grandparents about this, before going public with her theory?
But, the 80s and 90s are like, the dark ages! Surely everyone who lived back then is dead by now, right?
Have to say, the comment thread is a joy to read!
My father had, and my brother still has, cystic acne. I think my dad’s dad had it, but I’m not sure (no good closeups of his face when he was younger). I have adult acne and still get cysts, but only on my face, and not as often as before I hit menopause.
Who is she, the Asian Gwenyth Paltrow?
Oh yes, yes it is.
Grrrrrl, if I were on Twitter…i’d probably not be anywhere else. Scary place for me; so tempting to try and get people to think, but all the nope to that!
“I just thought of something stupid! I will instantly share it with the world! Without doing any minimal research whatsoever!”
I like “As someone who lived through the '80s and '90s, […] have a seat woo-peddler.”
Also, this person really doesn’t believe that oil existed until the 2000s?!?! Like way back in the '90s, before we discovered oil, we deep-fried things in what, apple juice?
There’s a reason I don’t use Twitter.
He won the majority of them, including the only one that was successful?
The Republicans are taking after the British when it comes to history and battles…every loss is glorious and every win is even more so. Even if the losses outnumber the wins.

Sadly, this is also the sort of person who emphatically doesn’t want counsel, even though they most need it.
As an ex-legal secretary, I find it appalling. Frickin’ amateurs.
Sounds nuttier than me wanting to declare my house and the land upon which it stands as seceding from the US (or at least the City of Warren, lol) and forming a separate entity, with my own D of I and Constitution, et al. Only I can’t think of a really cool-sounding name.
hahahaha, this should get put on a bathroom wall.
“Contact Pauline at [a number that has since been disconnected].”
Of course, even though this sort of thing makes me incredibly sad… I’m not above laughing at some of the takes on it.
Our cats use this argument all the time.
Apparently even 95yo isn’t too old, when it comes to justice:
Some things don’t and shouldn’t have a statute of limitations.
I find it somewhat amusing that the 95 year old will be tried in juvenile court (because she was a minor at the time), whereas here since the 80s we try teenagers as adults if they do something bad enough.
Tell me you’re white without telling me you’re white.
With the extra context of the insurrection, sure…but have to be careful with that one, it’s not always a good indicator:
