I seem to remember a funny exchange at TOP about Kate Bush Day. I’m thinking…I’m thinking @mindysan33 was involved in the exchange?

eta: maybe it was @Millie_Fink?

It was DEFINITELY @mindysan33, but could be @Millie_Fink as well.

Cagney acted in gangster flicks during the Pre-Code era, during which enforcement of some language was lax. I have no idea if his character said ā€œhellā€ during that time.

I hear you, but he did specify the 1950s, so the code was very much in force!

I had a cat that would jump into a full bathtub and walk around like that: back paws walking and front paws gently paddling to keep her head out of water. She didn’t do it often, but she did it more than once, on purpose. Very unusual cat.

 That sounds familiar, and it’s making me wonder about reincarnation. If I saw a cat doing that I’d be tempted to squint and ask, ā€œAunt Nettie, is that you? Slow blink once for yesā€¦ā€ Photos by Charles ā€œTeenieā€ Harris reflect when swimming like that used to be common.

That is one of the finest, most edifying videos I have ever seen. I tip my hat to you.

I’ve never heard of these animals before. Amazing! Some of their vocalizations sound like house cats.

Closely related to elephants??

A website with another video where one of them sounds a bit like a dog:
