Elephants purr!

What a lovely noise they make. The moment at 1:20 when the harsh criticism is withdrawn (or maybe dispersed?) is quite a moment too.

I never thought either of them was criticizing tophat-biggrin
They seemed so happy while he played.

I highly recommend a trip down that channel’s rabbit hole. You’ll laugh, you’ll smile, and it might get a little dusty wherever you’re watching.

I thought that was a motor or generator going; it was them?!

Yes! They purr!

They also do a fair harmonica impression when they squish their faces into something!

That was delightful! She’s an older elephant, too, by the description under the video. The trumpeting at the end got the dog’s attention; he woke up and pricked his ears up.

The “Cavatina” (as cavatina’s are meant to do) expresses and evokes emotions. Smiles and tears. Notwithstanding hot weather, elephant ear-flapping signals strong emotions going on. I love elephants.

Same here.
