Good question. Someone working from home??

That font looks like the a’s are from a different font.

Yeah, I force everything into Andika. I wonder if it may involve screening questions before any in-person appointments.

You know how a lot of Youtube videos are using spend-up scenes these days? To show days of activity in a few minutes? None of them are posting seizure warnings. A quick pause with appropriate warnings at the beginning of each video would be vety useful.

So I’m trying to find a calculator which will be visible under low light, and won’t blink. And I’m inundated with auto loan payment calculators. Is there any way to hook up a search engine to skip all car dealerships?

The latest Android “improvement” (at least on the two phones I’ve just gotten) have decides to do away with the on screen buttons for Back, Home, Switch Apps.

Now it’s all gesture based. And while it is reasonably intuitive, it’s maddening at times.

I up going back when I’m just trying to scroll left-right in a browser.

Closing an app generally works. But getting to switch between apps seems accidental at best.

The gestures in ios suck as well. They work in demos and in ideal conditions but when the screen is warm or your speed varies through the day, it turns to shit, even on the recent devices. I unlearned as much as I could and turned it off, like I did siri.

There are now so many ads and unwanted posts in Instagram, I don’t know who I’m following and who I’m not. And that’s the point: Confusion.

Curate that shit. Go on an unfollow binge.

I have always seen it as my duty to reject all the ads. And I do. Perhaps others were doing this and Instagram caught on.

So now they added these unwanted posts which go on indefinitely. Even if you say you’re uninterested, you will get the same post multiple times.

Does blocking work? I’ve started logging in w/firefox to avoid the worst of the ads. It doesn’t always work.

Must be a new thing. They completely covered my friends’ posts. Deleted. Instagram and FB both. Kill the rich.

Blocking doesn’t work because this is all happening within their “app.”

I’m thinking about that. It used to be so simple.

Hey, we got here, right? Until we get found.

Websites which put inportant info in small seperately-scrolling windows within the main window, so you can’t read the legal stuff without arm injuries and migraines.

So I’m trying to search for solutions to block sticky video.

I can find sites showing ways to inflict it. If I add migraine to my search, no luck finding ways to block it. If I add pain to my search, porn sites, and my blocklist isn’t working.

For those interested in . . . alternative(?) interface design, here’s the UI of a program for music production from Aberrant Studios.

Are there any programming languages where letters are interpreted using corresponding values from Greek Numerals instead of as variables? So “let a = b+c” returns an error because B + K > A. Maybe the next xkcd phone could use that.

I’m going to call this eXasperation.

Last Friday, I get a text from FedEx saying a package is on its way. I couldn’t think of what it would be, but it would be here on Tuesday.

Tuesday I get home to a Box.

Hmmm… What has Dell sent me now? I’ve a long relationship with Dell from work and I have gotten the odd swag at the house, so let’s dig in.

A Box with in the Box. Talking about their new workstation class laptop. It’s a nice laptop. I have one at the office and it is an “Approved Laptop” for the businesses.

Ooooh! A Laptop…errrr… a Cardboard Laptop.

Correction. A Pop-up Book disguised as a Papercraft Laptop

How much was spent to design, produce and ship me an advertisement for a laptop I am already purchasing.
