Trivia for the day:
Sue Jones-Davies, who played Judith (AKA Brian’s girlfriend) in The Life of Brian, lives in Aberystwyth in Wales.
Aberystwyth had banned the film when it was released, justifying the ban on the basis of her nude scene.
So Sue Jones-Davies became mayor of Aberystwyth, reversed the ban, and held a charity screening at the Aberystwyth arts centre. 
She’s still a town councillor for Plaid Cymru.
