Even the Spaniards of his day thought that Columbus was a psychotic arsehole, but focusing on contemporary Spanish objection (de las Casas etc) is still a mistake grounded in white supremacy.

The enslaved have always objected to enslavement; the idea that this only becomes wrong if white people agree is a grave moral error.
