Honestly? How can it be anyone’s class interest to keep burning the world?

Long-term? It isn’t (except in that they’re better positioned than anyone else to survive what’s coming).

In the short term, though, they stand to make a lot of money off of climate change, and have the poor and the government pay all of the costs for it.

Or, at least, to the extent that they actually believe it’s happening at all: their salary from the large corporations (especially oil) depends on not believing it, so…

While I’m generally not opposed to the idea of throwing bricks at cops: how would these “peaceful protests” be reported in the Western media if they were directed at a US-allied state?
