Doug Jones came within 2% of losing to a known pedophile. And if those same results had happened in a House election, six of the seven seats would have gone to the GOP courtesy of gerrymandering. And Doug Jones is only marginally superior to a standard issue Republican.
Come the midterms, the voter suppression machinery will be in full swing. And there’ll likely be a war happening.

Yeah in the name of being factual they presented hypocrisy and even pointy asked the TPUSA girl about it, but they did gloss over the issues. I think some of it was simply the amount of recorded media used, but it just was more concerned about handling a “delicate” issue than presenting the events and importance.

They at least did present what most media would avoid - that lawmakers purposely chose a definition of Becky to meet their political goals, that the local media in the area lied to their viewers, that the TPUSA girl inflated the drama and left out important events to support the TPUSA narrative, etc. as far as liberal media goes it is still the right stuff but they didn’t really press the issues appropriately. They did a much better job around Charlottesville and the episodes that talked about why white people in Alaska were scared of immigrants from Mexico.

So we’ve gone from “Russia hacked our election” to “Russia ran a massive propaganda campaign” to “Russia ran a small propaganda campaign” to “some Russians paid for ads, some of which relate to things that upset Americans”.

No, the “Russians” still sought to gain access to the DNC and hand emails to WikiLeaks (the hacking of the election) and they spent a lot on propaganda in the United States and they they imbedded themselves in the personal and political finances of Trump. It doesn’t mean Putin had a master plan to take over the election, but it still happened and is still important - the fact that American media can’t maintain focus or write worth a damn relates to your post above more than to what happened as a part of the 2016 election cycle.
