Yeah. I suspect that the seriousness of the current situation may eventually overwhelm that factor, though.
But this issue is part of why I’ve been hammering the Boingers for a year.
It drives me crazy to see comfortable middle-class middle-aged folks complain that they can’t afford the time for protest, or that it’s too risky, but then self-righteously lecture about the supposed political passivity of the young and working class, who have much fewer resources and are at much greater risk. Bah.

Recent themes of Liberal twitter have been condemning antifa, wishing death to Texans and blaming PoC for Trump.
Today, they seem to have moved on to openly wishing for a military coup.
