Given that Haspel has been appointed to a public position, it should theoretically be possible to apply the techniques of what used to be known as “literary detection”-- and do it in an open, scientific manner.
I do wonder if writing in such a distinctive style is a security threat. At the same time, it’s more readable (and therefore more useful) than cop talk. The other reports are somewhat lucidly written, as well. Shame that they were putting their MFA degrees in the service of torture.
