The Trumpists and Russians have been deliberately hyping the Russia story, apparently to keep liberals distracted.
Them doing that implies that they are not afraid of the Mueller investigation.
So…
Option 1: The Trumpists have sufficient confidence in Congress and the pardon power that they aren’t worried about whatever Mueller does, if anything.
Option 2: Mueller and Rosenstein are Trump loyalists, and are stalling to aid the distraction.
No idea which, and option 2 seems unlikely. As I said, paranoid speculation.
Option 3: They are a combination of arrogant, stupid and ignorant of the law, and genuinely believe they are above reproach.
Option 4: They think that if you wave your hands and shout loudly enough, the narrative that you are trying to sell prevails.
Faith in both of these options has always worked out for them in the past; why would they think that this would be any different?

He does realize that “spooks” is also a racial slur, right? That’s probably why it got removed.

I’m just saying it’s probably not the political censorship he thinks it is.
