Twitter “responding” to criticism.

The problem here is that Twitter is still trying to engineer ideologically neutral behavioural rules rather than just banning nazis. And they have a long history of applying those “neutral” rules in a heavily biased manner.

Going through Howard Zinn.

Anyone who can read that without being moved to a bloodthirsty rage…I question their humanity.

There is virtue in controlling anger, but that doesn’t mean that anger itself can not be just.

Yup, agree almost entirely with that article.

Bernie isn’t the leader of the left; he’s just the most prominent centrist-facing advocate. To my eyes, the DSA is closer to the core of what’s going on.

Some reports of sketchy brocialist bullshit in DSA-LA. How they and/or DSA-National respond will be important.

It’ll probably take a bit of time to shake out, though. Hopefully they’ll get on it ASAP.

In late December 2016, Bernardi held controversial meetings with members of the United States presidential campaign of Donald Trump, allegedly in preparation of forming a breakaway party after continued dissatisfaction with the party and its policies.

It doesn’t irrate me, I pretty much expect any given twitter rant to be less than half right and this is no exception.

The finance chair doesn’t advocate policy, let alone one in a team of deputies.

Thought this was interesting and I basically didn’t know where to put it. I guess my thoughts are on how people fall into fascism, and how anyone can be caught up into the movements regardless of their own personal self-preservation or personal feelings.
