response that best stirs the shit:
Compare and contrast…
There is a very noticeable generational split in the online political factions; the left are strong in millenials relative to the centrists.
I don’t have a good handle on the fascist age demographics, but the GOP are traditionally even older than the Dems. The occasional brat in a bowtie doesn’t change that.
If you’re wondering why Trump and Putin get on so well…
There is a huge crop of facists in their 20s, just look at the college republicans huge growth and the new alt-right figures.

As previously mentioned: the gloves are off for both factions.
“Protecting authors?” From what, exactly, I’d like to know?
ResearchGate and Academia.edu are “commercial entities that profit?” And Wiley doesn’t??
Good for you Taylor. I hope you don’t end up in jail though.
I’m not getting a strong “both sides are equal” vibe.

Obviously, I’m a socialist partisan in this; I think that the left are correct on pretty much all counts. I don’t think “both sides are equal”.
And I mostly follow leftist accounts, so most of the highlighted examples I see are of liberals being dicks. I’m sure that a liberal partisan would be posting examples of what they saw as leftist misbehaviour.
I only post a tiny fraction of the stuff I see along that sort of theme, and generally when I’m trying to demonstrate something about changing political currents.
More Berniecrats giving up on the Dems, including some fairly high profile ones now.
I think I was responding to the tweet, but I realize the futility. I appreciate what your nets bring up, no matter the facehugging expanse of tentacles.
Authoritarians always suck, regardless the side.
