Not sure if this is the thread for it, but why not.

Last night I dreamed I got a note from the US Army, typed with a typewriter in all caps, on a waiter’s pad. They wanted me to meet with Arlo Guthrie for some project or other.

I told the guy who gave me the note “you know I’m a pacifist, right? And I really hate Trump and am not going to do anything to promote any of his agendas? And seriously, Arlo Guthrie? Does the Army just want us to make some weird ambient-folk protest music…?”

He told me, “they know, and I think you’ll want to see this.” So I agreed, drove to Arlo Guthrie’s house, and it turned out this was being set up by the dragon who was secretly really in charge of the army. And then I woke up, thinking of the cliche from the Shadowrun games, “never make a deal with a dragon.”

Finnish papers have been reporting on the strange case of 91-year-old identical twins who died within four hours of each other, after their memorial notices were published in Helsingin Sanomat on Sunday.

Siiri Heiska died in Helsinki, and Maiju Ehrola passed away in Raahe, some 600km north, within four hours of each other. Their families say neither even knew the other had gone into the hospital.

Heiska’s daughter Nina Heiska told Ilta-Sanomat that the timing of the deaths was a mystery.

“That such a strange case could happen maybe says that we don’t quite know everything about this world,” said Heiska.

The paper followed up on this, asking epidemiology professor Jaakko Kaprio what he made of the case.

“This is such a rare single case that we can’t draw any scientific conclusions,” said Kaprio. “We have researched both identical and non-identical twins’ lifespans, and it’s a very small minority of them that die close together.”

It’s not quite that rare, as many Finnish media outlets reported. In March 2002, two elderly twins died in two separate road traffic accidents in Pattijoki, the village in Raahe where Ehrola and Heiska were born.

That case drew substantial media attention at the time, and it seems as though debate on the special connection twins enjoy may continue in the Finnish press.

I couldn’t find any decent stills, nor yt vids, and wound up with that squished image, which I didn’t realize was so squished it rendered him unrecognizable. /rolls eyes

I shall now replace it w/a far better 'un and shit.
