I know absolutely nothing about the Tanner scale, having never heard of it before. I’m nonetheless curious (hopefully not in a crossing-the-line way) about whether McCarthy would be defined as hebo- or ephebo-philiac. That is, I don’t know what defines late versus early adolescence. Is there a firm cut-off point? If so, what is it? Feel free to not answer if I should just google this or it’s too far off-topic!
