Oh, the humidity!
I had the same problem two years ago flying from Zurich to Montreal. Barely made the flight due to a late earlier flight. Checked in & ran to plane as door was closing. Despite scanning me in, I was recorded as a no show. Plane then delayed for a half hour while they unbeknownst to me, removed my luggage. Arrive in Montreal and my connecting flight was canceled because they said i hadn’t left Zurich.
“How am I here? How did I get off that flight?” Did I walk to Montreal?"
Explained my story 2 dozen times to Air Canada employees until i worked my way up the chain. Took 3 hours to correct before they wrote a hand boarding tag to get me on a flight home. They didn’t want me on that flight because they had never seen a hand written pass. It took 2 weeks for my luggage to get back home from Zurich.
The rest of that line is, “…lives near scalding deep sea volcanos and never eats.”
“ . . . and is related to the creature from Alien.”
They didn’t ‘clip’ the bridge - they were snapped right off So sad for the crew members who died, everyone who was hurt - physically and otherwise, and the lovely ship
I don’t know what that thing’s supposed to do but I want one.
In other news, I’ve been taking platters out of hard disk enclosures to be shredded. Some are from computers, some from external drives. Some of them are a little old.
I still remember watching Yo! MTV Raps when this video made its worldwide debut and I wouldn’t be surprised if I have this moment on some random VHS tape sitting in a box somewhere.
I had listened to this album at least 100 times, and knew this video would be something memorable.
PE did not disappoint.
Here in the Seattle area some 20 years ago, a gentleman thought having a horse mount him would be a good idea. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. (There’s a whole Wikipedia article on it.)
