Bamboo is really impressive with its tenacity and speed of growth, but seeing it happily grow through a whole house is crazy.
Bamboo is absolutely fascinating. One of the most versatile plants there is.
So are wisteria and bindweed. I killed both invasions by injecting them with a solution of saltwater. Using their own systems against them worked wonders, and there was nothing toxic (to me) involved.
I love bamboo shoots, such a great texture
