I’ve never seen “loser” spelled that way before.

Dude looks like an overly pumped-up skid row denizen.

Just goes to show how appearances deceive. Actually he’s a “social media influencer”, in case you were wondering how we got where we are today.

The story includes some interesting photos that can be added to the always-popular collection of “pictures of Kim Jong Un looking at things.”

The water slides look slightly more thrilling than the ones I’m used to.

There’s a graveyard in Toronto filled with cholera victims, mostly Irish immigrants, which can’t be dug up for a couple of hundred years because cholera is an anaerobic bacteria and can survive for an amazing time in the ground.

When I was doing archaeology, a coworker and I were voluntold to dig out the officers’ latrine at a fort site, down to the level where anaerobic bacteria could survive. We weren’t allowed to have lunch with anybody else, and we had to decontaminate for lunch and when we left for the day. Strangely, I don’t recall if we had to wear hazmat gear.

Well yes, anaerobic bacteria is after all very, very clever, isn’t it.

She’s just doing what the person filming HER is doing: taking a video until the last possible second.

I didn’t know that! I’ve driven by that place countless times. What a corner: senior apartments, the courthouse, and an hourly hotel.

It is also possible (sometimes) to get a half-day room at some hotels, especially those in airports or near them.
