It was pretty special.
I’m not a Coldplay fan, but I do think it’s nice of them to pay tribute to Dick this way. He’s looking pretty good at 99!
Of course it’s the cop.
I wonder if there really is a pit there, and if so what it is. Other than a hellmouth that is.
Of course.
That same year, Donald Trump started playing it at rallies, and has done so consistently ever since, often dancing to it and another Village People hit, Macho Man. While most musicians have reacted with horror to Trump using their songs, Willis says that YMCA has “greatly benefited”.
His wife is gonna sue anyone who claims YMCA is gay but then says
Willis added: “I don’t mind that gays think of YMCA as their anthem.”
So which is it? He cares enough to sue or doesn’t mind? Guy was part of a band explicitly put together to appeal to gay men. Maybe he thought the lyrics were about Black male friendship. But I bet everyone else involved in producing and performing YMCA knew better. Also, at this point, it really doesn’t matter what the lyricist’s intentions were. YMCA is, as @Grey_Devil said:
Ozempic is a modified, synthetic version of a protein discovered in the venomous saliva of the Gila monster, a large, sluggish lizard native to the United States
I didn’t know Ozempic was based on that same protein, but I was on Byetta first and it had the nickname “lizard spit.”
(Byetta was WAY more effective for me as an appetite suppressant and for weight loss. It was kind of unpleasant – I’d be eating and suddenly realize, one more bite and I’d be done and two more and I’d start feeling nauseous. And it was about half of what would normally satisfy me. But after a few months it just kind of stopped working at all.
But Ozempic, despite not having nearly that strong of an appetite suppressant effect for me, has been consistently helping with my blood sugar.)
I had that on a Trapper Keeper once…
Surely it’s punker to just shit your pants
I believe we hashed that out while GG Allin was still with us, and the answer was a firm NO.
Good point
I watched the video, and they briefly showed summa those weird frozen sand towers!
merelygifted
These absolutely stunning towers created of frozen sand were discovered on the shore of Lake Michigan, USA.
Earlier this year, in February, while exploring the shores around St. Joseph, Michigan, photographer Joshua Nowicki stumbled onto a bizarre phenomenon. He noticed dozens of small sand towers rising out of the beach and some of them were over a foot tall.
The strange layered sand castles were formed when blasts of wind slowly erode layers of frozen sand, much like how a river might slowly create a canyon.
Nowicki returned later to the same spot to take some more photos, but found that sunny skies were enough to melt them away.
