There are many aspects of everyday Roman life that feel very relatable.
I, for one, welcome our dancing robot overlords.
And their cobra-headed robodog.
And aā¦ Twerkinator?
That ends 2020 on a high note!
Want to see a 1971 Mark Hamill? Heās in this episode of āCannonā!
and no, he is NOT disguised as Joan Van Ark, that IS the actual Joan Van Ark.
First those droids now a plane crash. Heās never going to get those power converters.
And farming moisture with a posthole digger!
But he finally didā¦
Umā¦did he get to the power convertersā¦what? Iām missing something; I guess I donāt keep up as well as I thought, LOL.
EDIT: My guess was confirmed as fact by my son. Yay! I was right!
I thought Iād seen all interpretations of Mr. Truman on film, but I somehow missed this one.
āBut I was used to being vilified, it has its stimulating aspects and for all I know it may even be good for the liver.ā
fucking lol!
Iād forgotten about this; it popped up in my FB Memories the other day. Itās by H. Allen Smith, written in the 1930s or 1940s:
āListen, I donāt like to see people shoved around either, but the crusader instinct is not in me. If theyāre gonna be shoved around, thatās too bad. Iāve been shoved around a lot myself. So what? Iām not socially conscious by nature and I donāt intend to take a course in it. I dislike capitalists and bosses just as much as you dislike them, but I also dislike the masses. The hell with them too.ā
My sonās correct - it does taste like a watermelon Jolly Rancher.
I went to an exhibit of artifacts from Pompeii anc it was absolutely stunning. The items were beautifully preserved and the craftsmanship was so good. Their aesthetic was really nice too.
