First Science Fiction television show. Ran on the Dumont network and had writing contributions from some heavy hitter such as Jack Vance, Arthor C. Clarke, and Isaac Asimov. The budget was so low they would sometimes pad the runtime using clips from existing westerns.
The original kinescopes, along with the rest of the Dumont archive, was dumped in the river during a licencing dispute.
I love the techno advertising music playing in the background while he does things like push it across the floor on a mat. Makes it seem more credible?

Iām reasonably certain that Frog Design was hired by REVOX to create this, back when Hartmut Esslinger ran things.
Apart from posts within the community of REVOX enthusiasts I havenāt been able to find any hard facts to confirm it, but everything just fits real nice and kentucky.

Lotsa wintertime videos of Great Lakes & saltie freighters in the ports of Duluth and Superior, Minnesota feature sea smoke. Thatās how I got hip.
I remember -25 F / -32 C in Minneapolis in 2014. Despite an appropriate amount of layering, stepping outside felt like plunging into a pool of cool water.
