Andy Warhol’s family was Ruthenian.
Tooting Popular Front?
No, the Popular Front of Tooting. Splitter!
Yeah, but that’s not the reason it caught fire.
Yep, but Oh! The irony!
Careful with that ash, Eugene!
I just received the latest issue of Scientific American. They had a short article on IBD:
FTA:
For example, one of the most recently approved drugs, risankizumab (marketed as Skyrizi), blocks receptors for the cytokine interleukin-23 (IL-23), which is involved in many autoimmune diseases, and thereby interrupts the inflammatory cascade.
I just started Skyrizi three weeks ago, with the first of 3 infusions. Next week, I get the second infusion. On April Fools’ Day. And this was the April issue of SciAm.
Not sure what this portends.
Sometimes a dirigible can just be a cigar.
So it’s a monoclonal antibody; they and the mRNA drugs seems to be taking over the world! In a good way.
I hope it works.
And how is “Sky-rizi” pronounced?
I believe it’s pronounced sky reezee. One of the odder drug brand names I’ve encountered.
Sounds like a video game.
You bet. And “risankizumab” sounds too Seussian to be internally taken—unless it was a children’s vitamin.
Ammonite trace fossils.
(I did not watch the video)
Thanks!
There’s a cat arthritis medication called “bedinvetmab”, and I always want to transpose syllables so that it’s “vetinbedmab”.
I love Stefan’s videos, and I’m saving this one to watch tomorrow.
