Just saw a medium-small, brown, striped bird hovering. I guess it’s not just hummingbirds.
P.S. Whatbird suggests a few species of thrush. Based on the paintings, Louisiana Waterthrush looks like the best fit.
I remember as a young lad of 9 or 10 getting the “Live and Sleazy” album by the Village People and my much old siblings in backwoods Montana surely understood the double entendres. (As I quickly picked up on it as well)

A much greater percentage of the 1970s straight populace knew exactly what the songs were about, and didn’t care, than was imagined by the powers that be.
Yes. I remeber there being a lot more “gayness” in popular culture in the 70s than there was in the 80s. Or even the 90s really.
