Huh.

I think I knew Simple Plan was Canadian, but I didn’t know they were from Montreal.

They were constantly on the radio when I was in high school/college.

this weekend, the more or less as-it-happened complete broadcast of the Woodstock festival in 1969, warts and all, in celebration of the 50th anniversary. i love all the stage announcements, and the bands i’m not familiar with. it’s too bad that the bands i DO want to hear are all around 2am-6am my time (lookin’ at you, the Who and Jimi Hendrix).
