Whatcha Watchin'?

Because nobody over the age of 10 would ever watch cartoons. Grownups watch important shows, like Real Housewives of Dublin.

I did not know that, but growing up me and my older brother watched a lot of Three Stooges. Their comedic timing is so good

One thing I’m consistently watching that I don’t think was listed here before was the streaming service Dropout. While I like to think I like P&P RPGs, I can’t get into the Dimension 20 stuff, but I love the rest, especially Game Changer. Last week’s episode was pretty cool…hard to not spoil it but it was one where they focused heavily on one of their main players.

I watch the new Game Changers, Um Actually (lovely annoying nerd trivia), Smartypants (sarcastic weird takes on topics), and a few others pretty much whenever they release. One of my favorite parts of it is how they are extremely LGBT+ friendly and it’s just part of the channel. Unless it’s a topic (like Grant’s apparently never-ending sexual escapes), it doesn’t come up but it’s very openly there.

Jesus! Is that an actual show?

Destroy the world now. Nothing can come good out of humanity.

I think they are stretching the definition of a vaudeville act.

This is a spoilery review, but this is an excellent movie, if you’ve never seen it…

Like… it might seriously be the best thing Cage has ever done (on par with Leaving Las Vegas?). I was not expecting how good this movie was…

@Millie_Fink’s post here…

Reminded me that we watched this awful movie last night…

It’s very bad.

Pig and Vampire’s Kiss and his crowning achievements. He could retire now, or make another hundred shitty movies, it wouldn’t matter. Watch those two.

Well, it depends on whether or not he’s paid off his debts. that’s why he’s being doing so many films these past few years… he had a debt that needed to be paid off.

At least he’s making movies that are fun for him. He doesn’t seem to be phoning any of his performances in, i can think of other actors that took roles purely for the money and that really did not give a whole lot to the role.

He is always 100% in any movie I’ve ever seen him in… The Color out of Space… just… nailed it…

OMG, Wild at Heart…

Mandy…

And on and on…

If even the movie is crap, he will bring his best to whatever he’s doing. He’s a much better actor than I think lots of people give him credit for… I think that Pig shows that, because he’s not being ā€œover the topā€ like he’s known for doing. It’s a very subtle kind of performance.

Oh yeah Mandy is way up there, along with WAH and I really liked Dream Scenario too.

He reminds me of actors like Danny Trejo and James Hong. Both said yes so nearly every role, so they are credited actors on a huge number of movies and even in the most mundane of roles their presence and performance really shine through.

Edit: i was curious and looked it up. Danny Trejo has about 450 credits between TV and movies. James Hong has 600+ credits :open_mouth:

I’ll bet that his favorites were the various Muppets cameos.

Here is when I get to remind everyone that I know the guy who did the Cheddar Goblin commercial…

Yay, Prof. Morte!
