Women, amirite?

Yeah… but it occurs to me that realistically when it comes to safety for themselves there is no solution that can result in a functioning program. For women who want to track their fertility for any reason if they want to avoid risk then they need to keep that information in a place where it can be easily destroyed and has no backups. Whether this is a digital place or back to pen and paper doesn’t matter, but this kind of breaks the logic of using an app.

To be perfectly honest women will also be having to consider that anything they tell a medical provider is a risk.

This is why you don’t make it a borderline crime to simply have a semi-functioning uterus… which is the state of the law currently.

62 years after the real ‘first all-female space flight’, a handful of celebrities wearing non-functional skintight outfits that would not protect if anything had gone wrong, without any actual training or scientific background to aid their journey, act as the newest generation of car models to showcase a billionaire’s latest transportation vehicle:

Early astronauts grumbled that they had no control of their flights, saying they were nothing but “spam in a can”. I suppose the ladies of the Blue Origin flight could be described as “glam in a can”.

Don’t want women engineers working on the damned things but we are supposed to be so thrilled that some billionaires and billionaires’ wives can squander US money on their self-actualization while we are told orphaned children don’t deserve their social security payouts or, even, a single free meal.

Kind of sickening and forgive me if I don’t feel super empowered.

I mean billionaires are going to be disappointed if they get to Mars and there aren’t the promised polymastic prostitutes sexy influencers for them to offer sperm to. And what is the point of society and technology if not to give billionaire creeps what they want? :unamused:

It’s okay if we die of diseases that could be prevented, because the only reason we exist is to be a human incubator… Once we’re menopausal, we’re basically ugly old hags and useless… /s

It’s “the whole purpose of the postmenopausal female” according to Eric Weinstein on his podcast, and JD Vance didn’t disagree. (Insert Ferengi here.)

The amount of damage this will do is very nearly incalculable. Longitudinal studies across decades are incredibly hard to do, and this one has produced a lot of actionable data. Killing it as “DEI” because it involves women? Holy shit, what self-centered, short sighted, assholish assholes!

But on the other hand they will fund a study that will debunk autism-causing vaccines once and for all.

But that’s wasted money, when all we need is women’s wombs… /s :rage:

Not so certain the /s is accurate here. Line from Mickey 17 comes to mind: “Is that all I am is a uterus to you?” (Spoken to the blatantly Trump-esque Mark Ruffalo character.) Well, yes, of course. Is there anything else?
