Prime Minister Donald Tusk
Hey, that’s OUR copresident’s name!
Why does this sound familiar?
The press should start embracing the word “claim.” One can claim a lot of things, but we don’t have to act like we believe it until there’s some proof. They know that with this regime they are dealing with a legion of liars.
Joke’s on him. Macron was thinking of using nukes against Washington D.C.
I can hear him saying “Hey, I’m not political.”
The hardest thing now: the debate on nuclear weapons
The Nordic region has the technology and the money to establish an independent nuclear weapons value chain.
Or is it some kind of Adidas tie-in?
Shortly before Davie’s announcement, Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding a meeting on icebreaker cooperation between representatives from the United States, Canada, and Finland. The meeting took place in Helsinki on 4–5 March as part of the ICE Pact partnership, which was established last July.
Indeed! They keep treating this like it’s normal times, but it’s not. It’s driving me up a wall… don’t believe a thing they say, unless there is proof for what they say! these people are journalist and they should know this very basic part of their fucking job…
Mr. Javier Milei is fulfilling one of the campaign promises that led him to the presidency of Argentina. He used a chainsaw as a symbol of the deep cuts he intended to make to the Argentine State, and one sector that has been experiencing intense blows is the retirees, who have seen their income dwindle.
These elderly people have started to gather every Wednesday in front of the National Congress in Buenos Aires to protest. It is said that the local police always show up to repress the elderly.
What is new is that lately some people, who are not retirees, have also been showing up in the square in front of the Congress and acting as human shields to protect the retirees (and occasionally exchanging blows with the police).
“Hopefully today will be a click for all Argentine fans in support of the retirees. This initiative was taken by the Chacarita fans who we know from the stadium. It is not a matter of hooligans, there are fans of different ages and sexes who want to come to support the retirees, calmly, looking after them. We do not come with a message of violence, we want to demonstrate. And if they touch a retiree, we will be here to respond. We are making a move so that all the fans join in, it is important that they come because here there are no shirts except the light blue and white ones,” told Mr. Cristian to the newspaper Pagina 12.

It all started a few days ago when fans of small teams from the second and third divisions of Argentine soccer were called to participate in the protests. First it was the fans of Chacarita and Laferrere, but now others want to participate, such as supporters of the Tigre, Temperley and Nueva Chicago teams.

How very libertarian of you, Javier.
There is a line from a Fatima Mansion’s song about the police, and he calls the cops “rich man’s militia”…
The thing that they said would definitely not be happening- it’s happening.
But don’t worry. The new government are moderates.
Yet the UK is – unlike France – highly intertwined with the US when it comes to maintaining its nuclear weapons, which are designed, manufactured and maintained in the US under a deal rooted in a 1958 agreement. Britain had 50 missiles left as of 2008 after purchases from a US stockpile, according to research by the University of Bradford.
“Britain likes to call its nuclear posture independent, but it, of course, is absolutely not,” said Hans Kristensen, who monitors the status of nuclear forces for the Federation of American Scientists, a US thinktank.
“It may be that Britain can fire weapons independently of the US, but below that, the entire infrastructure covering missile compartments on submarines, the missiles themselves, all are supplied by the Americans.”
