Croatia is amazing. I highly recommend Plitvice Lakes National Park and Dubrovnik.
If you visit Dubrovnik, try finding secret swimming spot called Club Boninovo :laughing:

My niece and her new husband will be honeymooning in Croatia; he is Croatian-Canadian, so they’ll be visiting family.

If not the happiest, I hope they are now very happy; at one time they had one of the highest suicide rates in Europe. Now Slovenia (1st) and Lithuania (2nd) have the highest. :cry:

I do remember that, now that you mention it; I believe it was linked to the lack of sunlight in the winter, whether or not that was verified.
