The source for all information from “R-Anon.”

This is really the best possible outcome. Firstly, that someone is paying money for it, and it’s not being kept as some version of what it was, but also because it’s funny. I really hope they keep the site structure (or at least certain article URLs) intact, but replace the content with parody material, so that people following links get absurd versions of what they expected, and it shakes them from their conspiracy theories (or at least makes them look like asses). Like how the Onion would occasionally have an article mistaken for reality by Christian conservatives, who would link to it as “evidence” of something, and the Onion would change the article when they realized that happened. They can do that on a huge scale, now.

This is exactly what I’m hoping for as well.

Missed that ovee here.

Kinda hope they will involve https://knowledgefight.com/ in some way.

Digging around found this on Reddit:

Oh, the possibilities. Who knew that the Onion would turn out to be a major player in the fight against conspiracy theories, disinformation and fascism…

Did they have an extra scene of misogyny in the directors cut?

It’s always a little jarring to see the ways those old classics have aged badly. Even the moral of the film seems a little iffy. In the original song it’s implied that Rudolph is only ostracized by the other reindeer, but the film makes it clear that Santa himself is part of the problem.

It was a product of his time… the stop motion style is magnificent! But yeah, it’s got real problems as a narrative.

The bells have been reinstalled in Notre Dame.

The bells of Notre Dame ringing once again are an emotional capstone to the end of Is Paris Burning.

Are the bells in full working order again yet or just Quasi-functional?

Maybe they took the opportunity to tune them to a modal scale.

The Klamath is one of few rivers that crosses from the desert east of the Cascade Mountains to the Pacific. The upper basin is rich in nutrients and a great nursery for salmon and steelhead that has been inaccessible to anadromous fish for most of a century.

More salmon. Strong return of salmon plus road flooding equals road salmon!

Please ignore all the comments about putting in a culvert. Those folks are usually well-meaning, but culverts kill outgoing juvenile salmon by the thousands. It’s better for a few dozen adult salmon to cross the road in the late autumn than for thousands of smolts to die under one in early summer.
