I actually renamed the industrial band I joined.
Archaela wanted to change it after another founding member (and was he ever!) had left the group.
She told me this one afternoon, when she came over to ask me to join the group, and brought over some records and a beautifully illo’d book re: Gothic architecture. I saw one of the chapters was called Gothic Without Death; it bagged on a cathedral or church for having all the aspects of Gothic architecture other than death. I suggested it would make a great name for the band, and she agreed. 
I keep a notepad document of band names, just in case.
