This thread, too:
To be fair, once one has had proper southern sweet tea, that naturally becomes the obvious default. Who would want it any other way? Of course you would have to specify if you donât want good tea.
See, thatâs the thing⌠that seems like something that would be pretty darn difficult to forget. And yet, even though I went out and found a trailer before posting that in order to try to refresh my memory⌠I didnât recognize any of it. And Iâm the sort who can usually flip to a random page of a book Iâve read, read a sentence or two, and recall exactly whatâs going on and usually a good bit of the dialog both before and after that spot!
Counter-counterpoint: tea, whether sweet or unsweet, is a vile abomination. So naturally you need to fully describe the kind you want each time, just to make it clear what kind of monster you are.
The latest from Junkball. The Excelsior!
Or as they say in Minnesota, âExcelshur.â
Thread:
We watched âThe Good Fightâ on DVD and, to our surprise, one of the bonus features was Star Trek: Discovery.
Meh.
Donât look if you havenât seen this weeks Picard.
hello and goodbye Echeb.
I didnât even remember him from the old show and I still thought that was cheap revenge drama
and anyway WTF Seven itâs not a mercy killing if all that was wrong with the guy was a missing eyeball
WOW!!!
For those of us on the Twitters:
If you tweet #StarTrekUnitedGives, StarTrekUnited will donate $1 to Black Lives Matter charities. I know itâs not much, but small donations can add up. So letâs get this trending!
For what itâs worth, be aware:
Thereâs no indication that it isnât in good faith attempting to make a positive difference (in fact, it is an official charity, while the BLM movement is not), but itâs worth knowing that itâs completely different from what you would most likely assume.
