I think I see your problem there…

I don’t love the TNG films but they aren’t a mere audition for doing Star Wars by somebody who has never managed to write or tell a coherent story that anybody could care about. Problem with the story? Forget it tcg, this is Abrams. He can put the pieces on the board really well but he has not idea how t0 play.

Leonard Nimoy as a person exudes such an aura of elegance that trekkies ROUTINELY forget that Spock is the clumsiest motherfucker on that whole damn ship, zero competition. Have we as a nation already forgotten about that time he accidentally alerted the Romulans to the Enterprise’s location by tripping and landing on his console?? My boy is tottering about like a baby deer who doesn’t know how to use his legs yet at every hour of the day!
