There are 45 million registered Democrats. 39% are white men.

The queer Dem voter population is probably close to as large as the white male Dem voters.
In the 2020 election, queer voters voted Dem at 74%. Discouraging the LGBTQ voters will sink the party. It’ll go down much lower.
This is so true. Name a policy and check the box. Appease Israel? Get labeled as antisemitic. Negotiate in good faith between labor and management? Get labeled as BOTH anti-worker and anti-business. Incentivize development and manufacturing of green energy technology? Get labeled as crazy environmentalists. Recover tens of millions of jobs after T**** crashed teh economy? Get trashed for a 6-month inflation spike mostly caused by corporate greed.
Additionally-
There is no national civil rights legislation protecting LGBTQ in the United States. Queer Dems are leaving red states for Cities in blue & purple states with LGBTQ equity legislation and with services we need. Philadelphia in particular is seeing a large influx of American LGBTQ internal refugees.
Depending on those, they would be subject to conflict of interest laws. They would have to file financial disclosures. Section 208, the Criminal Conflict of Interest Statute, would kind of tighten what they’re able to do. When you have 208 concerns, you’re talking about a matter of either recusal or divestiture.
