Anything that hurts him is a good thing.
I think it was an impulse buy that he definitely wanted to use to normalize far right propaganda, but also genuinely thought would still be profitable that way, because he has no conception of reality. He got one of those two things.
âSwasticarsâ.
I like it!
And thatâs likely before the great xitter exodus by reddit over the last few days.
I wouldnât be surprised if he meant operating income, conveniently ignoring all the billions upon billions needed to get there.
Elon Musk switched on at AfD campaign opening
âBe German proudâ: Tech billionaire Elon Musk spoke to AfD supporters from a video screen. The Trump adviser spread his findings about âGerman culture,â and the exhibition hall was hailed.
(Imperfectly) translated excerpt:
With a video message, Musk confirmed his support for the AfD party. âIt is very important that the people of Germany are proud of being German,â Musk said via livestream. The âGerman cultureâ goes back »Thousing years. Already the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar was âimpressedâ by the will to fight the Germanic tribes, Musk continued.
âCourt fight for a great future for Germany,â Musk said under the jubilation of the some 4,500 AfD supporters in the exhibition hall, according to the party. The entrepreneur complained that there is âtoo much focus on past guiltâ that one had to leave behind it. Children should not be guilty of the sins of their great-grandparents, he said, and called for optimism.
I believe he cribbed this speech from Admiral LĂŒtjens in"Sink the Bismarck!"
in answer to the question:
âno. only the nazis i dislike.
i dislike all nazis.â
It may not be obvious, but âbeing proud to be Germanâ is a very specific, well-established and very taboo turn of phrase. Think German fourteen words.
I feel a little bad for people who bought Teslas back before Musk outed himself, when most people didnât know he was a fascist scumbag and probably thought getting a Tesla was a progressive, good thing to do. Now theyâre going to have their cars vandalized and have extreme difficulty getting rid of them (though they could always put on an anti-Musk bumper sticker and hope that dissuades would-be vandals.)
Anyone who bought a Cybertruck, on the other hand, deserves all the grief they get. Though theyâd perhaps consider getting a swastika painted on their car to be a free service rather than a nuisance.
Something about that logoâŠ
Indeed. The speech from Admiral LĂŒtjens I referred to earlier concludes with, âDonât forget that you are Germans! Donât forget that you are Nazis! Heil Hitler!â
whoaâŠ
good spot. that is frighteningly similar.
i donât want to follow the worms.
A while back, I did see a Tesla with a âLove the car, hate the chief twitâ sticker.
