Yes, but definitely Larenz was a bit cuter. However, David definitely had that suave thing going in excess, at least when he played Sly.
I have to admit that it didn’t hurt that Kim Richards was in it, too. My childhood celebrity crush, next to Kristy McNichol or Janet Jackson.
I’ve heard of James at 15, but never watched a single ep.
By the time streaming came along, it had long since passed from my awareness.
(Agreed on Janet; she was totally my girl-crush in the late 80’s/90’s.)

I remember for all the hype the girls in the film put on it, Kristy’s character losing her virginity seemed underwhelming and impersonal at best; which was probably the point.
I don’t really remember Matt Dillon’s character as her love interest at all, other than he seemed really one dimensional and dull.
I think that was exactly the point.

Same here, which is why my current hairdresser won’t do it. I miss my old one (she quit hairdressing).
I get my hair ‘did’ so infrequently that I don’t even have a regular stylist.
