I’m afraid I have to disagree. I don’t think they are not getting gamed into anything by the right, I think the issue is that they are the right. It’s just a veneer of “both sides” that’s coming off.

I am really glad—truly—that more outlets are covering FEMA’s unacceptable response in Texas. But for my original reporting to receive ZERO acknowledgement (especially when I know many of these outlets originally declined to cover this story) is simply maddening. I would literally never do that.
