Rambler, a half maine coon just got a lion hair cut, so his head, dark gray and white looks different from the shaved lighter gray of his body. He gets terrible hair tangles and enjoys getting his summer cut.

Their lives aren’t in immediate danger anymore, like they were in South Africa because otherwise they wouldn’t have been accepted as refugees (right? Right?). So by definition they’re doing better than before. Actually building a life in a foreign country as a refugee will take two or three generations but that’s the lot they accepted when they fled.

Boelter’s comments were ordinary complaints about politicians, and he didn’t express extreme views, Carlson said. He said Boelter supported Trump and tuned in to programming from Alex Jones’s conspiracy-filled Infowars site. Boelter would be offended if anyone called him a Democrat, his roommate said.

The main reason was a single photo, released without explanation by the Minnesota police, showing the interior of Vance Boelter’s car with a bunch of printed pages containing one phrase in big bold letters: “NO KINGS.”
Countless people took the photo to mean that Vance Boelter was somehow connected to the anti-Trump protests. Then came the news that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz reappointed Boelter to an obscure state advisory board, leading to deranged conspiracy theories that Walz was somehow behind the killings.
