They clearly made a choice to avoid all morally weighty issues in the campaign, whether that was a robust defense of the trans community or opposing genocide. They really hoped to siphon off voters from the right in doing that, and they were never, ever going to vote for a Black woman that they viewed as “too progressive”… how stupid do you have to be…
That woman rules. All those women rule.
There has been a lot of discussion on how to feel about people who didn’t vote for Harris because of Gaza, but I feel like most of the ire should be directed at her for making that the choice in the first place. She didn’t have to stand for continued genocide. She threw the Palestinians under the bus for political calculations and all it did was show everyone she’s an asshole who will throw people under the bus.
Asked about lessons from 2017, Jeffries wishes Congress would have given CEOs what they asked for. What??
JOURNALIST: Lessons learned since 2017 tax fight?
JEFFRIES: House Dems are the common sense caucus…we could have landed the plane right at 24-25% corporate tax rate like the CEOs asked for.
“I just have to be more accommodating. Offer them everything they want, give in to all of their demands, and then they’ll have to respect me.”
How did so many of these people end up this way? They are going to go to the gallows wishing they had somehow done less to stop them.
Though it does help to maintain the corporate donor cash flow.
Let’s think
I’m going with none
Costco, which has come out saying it supports DEI, will make no changes to its existing programs, AND pays workers a minimum of $30/hour, is up 15% YTD.
Target, which announced it is ending all DEI programs and has a minimum wage of $15-$24/hour, is down over 4%.
Keep voting with your wallet.
Time to invest in Costco (and spend your profits at Costco!).
He wants to buy the landfill where he threw away his bitcoin.
I wonder if substitutes like flax and chia seeds are also running low.
