They look like icetrax brand. That’s what we have. But last year my wife got a new pair of boots with two sets of cleats that just flip out of the boot sole, like these. I hope the idea catches on.

Nice looking boots; they look warm and snug. It looks like the studs are not retractable though.

Lovely cabinet full of poshlaia though.

Yes! There are some lovely pieces of furniture, and that unpainted! wood everywhere is aMAZing, but who puts a chair in front of the front door, a bed w/the foot up against a closet and its head under a crooked-ass (or is it an optical delusion b/c their phone camera?) shelf, and a tv over a mirror and a sink?

Better pics of the home are here.

Still, were one able to purchase more of the surrounding land, it would make an absolutely lovely donkey sanctuary.*

“During” also has a big impact on workout performance. Allegedly.

I tried doing the Stroop test, and was fine until the last round, and I’m sorry, but I can’t talk that fast. Maybe I should just say it silently.

Yes. It would enshittify one’s performance.

A high-end shoe store in Toronto. The brand is Pajar, apparently a Montreal company.

A few years ago I saw a different brand with the same idea of built-in retractable studs. I was dubious about their longevity so I passed.

Thanks! They really are a great idea because you don’t need the cleats on every surface, so you may need them to walk to the subway, but not when you into the station or on the train. The ones like I have, that you have to take off and on, are really cumbersome for times like that.

These are the boots with deployable ice cleats. I just referred these to a friend in Minnesota. At least he now knows they exist.

I have never heard of Olang before. This is why we need to conquer Canada, and liberate their boot technology!

Interesting. Those have exactly the same soles as the Pajars.

Tread lightly. It may be a mere matter of marching, but we have the boots for it.

Fun fact, Canada will happily sell us boots! They’re pretty nice neighbors, eh? I wore my Baffins while walking doggo tonight, actually.

The entire boot looks very similar. Pajars is another boot brand I have never heard of. How many boots does Canada need!?!??!
