Following in the footsteps of the great Peter Sellers, who played three characters in the original film, the roles that Coogan is playing in this remake are that of Dr. Strangelove, Captain Lionel Mandrake, President Merkin Muffley (all played by Sellers), and Major TJ “King” Kong (the Slim Pickens role).

Which is perfectly cromulent as Peter Sellers was supposed to play Major Kong as well and had even started to work on a credible Texan accent with the help of Terry Southern (which is something I’d love to hear), but the long and the short of it is that it didn’t work out and all that came out of it was Sellers falling out of the B-52 cockpit mockup during an argument with Kubrick and injuring his leg. So they brought in Slim Pickens (good choice), and pretty much at the last minute too. When he arrived at the studio dressed as he usually was, somebody from the production team exclaimed “Good Lord, he’s already in character!”
That is extremely impressive!
I really want it to just be the single word “nothing” though.

I like the font.
