100% agree, although I might just call you ‘dude’ or ‘chick’ or ‘dudechick’ most of the time for simplicity. You’re totally free to choose your name, and if it so happens that it’s only pronounceable by Cthulhu cultists, well that’s cool too, I’ll try to get it right for when it matters.

The Regime of Oklahoma trying to criminalize more trans people:
A. It shall be unlawful for a person under the age of twenty-
one (21) years to undergo gender reassignment medical treatment in
this state.
…
D. “Gender reassignment medical treatment” means any health
care to facilitate the transitioning of a patient’s assigned gender
identity on the patient’s birth certificate, to the gender identity
experienced and defined by the patient. The term shall include, but
not be limited to:
1. Medical procedures to suppress the development of endogenous
secondary sex characteristics;
2. Medical procedures to align the patient’s appearance or
physical body with the patient’s gender identity. This does not
include clothing, hairstyles, the use of makeup or other non-
permanent actions of the patient; and
3. Medical procedures to alleviate the symptoms of clinically
significant distress resulting from gender dysphoria, as defined in
the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th
Edition. The term does not include behavioral health care services,
such as mental health counseling.
E. Any person guilty of the provisions of subsection A, B or C
shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the
custody of the Department of Corrections for a term of not less than
three (3) years nor more than life and a fine of not more than
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00).

Like so many of her other works, this is beautiful, well thought-out, and powerful. It’s wonderful to see the joy on Abby’s face as she comes onscreen as herself for the first time. And it’s informative for those of us who are cis and seek more understanding of our trans brothers and sisters in their journey toward becoming (externally) their true selves.
