Capitalism sucks. The TLDR; for this one is that a privately owned company grew quickly and profited off of inflation during covid and is now needing to do layoffs.

I guess I’m not an assassinatable CEO, but $2.48 Billion in profit is still a considerable sum of money, especially for a privately owned firm.

Not seeing why they need to lay off 8000 people. :thinking:

interesting development that tRump will surely undo. (he added Cuba in 2020)
