We got some thunderstorms last night, but nothing too serious… although it did cause my tallest tomato to flop over!
Glad you’re safe!!!

High temperature today = 55 (13).
So much for that global warming! Am I right?
I know was joke, don’t worry. It’s actually warmer up here right now, topped out at 59 degrees. This past weekend I cut the grass for the first time and it was in the 40s. Perfection.
You and @mindysan33’s discussion about the bad weather in AL and GA yesterday sunk into my subconscious. Last night, I dreamed that my husband was afraid of a thunderstorm and woke me up. I opened our bedroom door and the entire front wall was gone. We had slept through a tornado. I started crying because my wallet, passport, and birth certificate got taken by the tornado (no other real damage). I started to feel slightly better, but then I began worrying that I’d be deported since I didn’t have a passport or birth certificate.
I woke up and I immediately felt such guilt for all the victims of tornadoes. How do they do it? How do they cope?
So, yeah, I had my first climate change/MAGAt mashup stress dream. Good times.
(I hope both of you continue to stay safe!)
Everything happening in the world is causing you storm-related stress dreams!!!
Who is that?

Wind from the north. Air Quality Alert here in Minneapolis: we’re starting to get the smoke from Canada.
It’s irritating to the eyes and nose, but I feel so much worse for the people in Canada who have had to be evacuated…
It’s so terrible for them.
Try to keep the windows closed if you can and mask up. Take care of yourself!
That shit was due to arrive in Detroit in the wee smol hours. Our air quality alert is until 6 AM.
I asked D about it around 3 hrs ago, and he said the cloud was over Grand Rapids and Flint, MI, and would arrive here in a few hrs.
I smelled smoke for a brief moment while outdoors around 3 PM, but no more until another V quick whiff when indoors 7ish PM. My snoot hasn’t properly worked since getting an upper respiratory funkiness 2 Saturdays ago, but I could smell that. D said he had smelled nothing.
Hope he closed his studio window!
