Why, oh why didn’t they read the manual? big fat /S
Christ, this shit’s awful.
I would never drive a car that color, but I think it looks great. Then again, I drive a bright blue car (the color is called Portimao Blue Metallic), so I can’t really be critical of a bright green.
Most of their work involves utterly mad colors like this, and color shifts, but they also do ones that are just beautiful.
Very nice. Not quite
but very nice.
That’s a great color! I had fuchsia lipstick & nail polish almost the same as that sample in the early 80s
Wouldn’t fancy a pink car, tho. Guess I’m too macho.
I had a Polo in that colour for a couple of years ~30 years ago.
That’s awesome! You’re obviously much more secure than I
If was one of those things that just happen. I had been on the receiving end of a rear-end collision/4 car pileup and needed another car ASAP and cheap. So I phoned up a distant relative in Hamburg, they had a petrol station, garage and used car lot at the time, and asked if they had anything small and cheap - Fiesta, Polo, Panda, anything. And they had this Polo with a real low kilometerage from the proverbial little old lady, but for real. I still remember the phonecall:
“Yeah, we’ve got this Polo with [km] on the odometer and you can have it for [very attractive price].”
“I’ll take it.”
“But… it’s PINK…”
“I said I’ll take it.”
To be honest, a bit unusual at first, but it really grew on me. On balance, a positive experience. Sure, I’d get the odd side-eye, but when I’d encounter another Polo or Golf in Verkehrspurpur we’d wave at each other like old friends. I also took a lot of photos when I thought the colour made a nice contrast to the surroundings. I really need to digitise some my old negatives/slides.
That guy needs to spend way more time on his triceps, and stop doing endless bicep curls.
