When was the last Scottish king on the throne? Or Queen, I guess? Has there been since the Stuarts? Queen Anne with William, I guess?

For anyone who wants to celebrate a lesser-known person…
My son’s paternal grandfather, Edwin Theodore Habowski, would’ve been 96 today. He wasn’t perfect, but he was one of the finest men I’ve ever met.
And I’m conflicted about the Queen, because lookswise, she reminds me of my own late mum.
As I posted somewhere else:
“All this talk of her duty and sacrifice and I’m just left thinking she’s an hereditary billionaire on a big chair with an obscenely expensive hat bought with the proceeds of rampant exploitation of other countries by possibly the most violent and expansive White Supremacist Empire in the history of the world but yeah, sure, maybe she doesn’t have a cushion.”
