I’ve been thinking we should use “uncel”, for “unsurprisingly celibate”.

How about “No-sale?”

I’m multiply disabled, I don’t have access to public transportation, or to most meeting-places such as hobby groups and restaurants. So I’m unsurprisingly celibate. Maybe all these terms throw someone under the bus?

Anyway…

Because of fosta/sesta, it’s now harder for sex workers to crowdfund for legal bills.

I was using the term to mean, “unsurprising in light of their misogyny and general obnoxiousness”. In no way was it meant to describe your situation. Unfortunately, it takes a while until most of the population “just knows” what any new term means.

I certainly don’t want to throw anyone under a bus undeservedly, least of all you.

I’m not surprised. After all, as Chekhov said, if it’s not going to go off, it shouldn’t be hanging there.

It was at least a happy ending right?

Just not enough attention to storytelling principles for my taste. For instance, they don’t seem to put any effort into having a proper denouement after the climax.
