Instead, he said he had directed officials to obtain the information through an executive order for government agencies, as court challenges would have delayed a census.
“We will leave no stone unturned,” Mr Trump said.
The whole Epstein thing and how he got his money got me to remembering that REAL billionaire who backed the current POTUS…I just found this:
What kills me is that if Mercer had bothered to listen to anyone with listening to in 2016, he could have bailed then.
He’s got to me surrounded by yes men.
He and his family hate HRC; I mean, they supported CRUZ fercrisakes first! They’re fucking OUT OF TOUCH with what is going on at ground-zero is the probem.
Judging from the article, they’re out of touch with ground zero and several atmospheric zones above that. They still support climate change skeptics.
I KNOW, right? I mean, his ONLY redeeming quality is that he likes cats. But that doesn’t um…trump everything terrible he’s done to this country.
BUT they’re fucking SCARED TO THEIR BALLS of socialism!
Translation: if working-class people are enabled, I won’t have my nice things anymore.
Rich people need an app that says, every morning when they wake up, “there were still very rich people in Sweden in the 1970s. Calm the fuck down.”
Also he’s a clueless Randian who thinks we have to cull the planet. Mercer’s dissatisfaction with the Rump is born from Mercer’s own poor understanding of how society deals with criminal psychopaths like Trump and himself.
Mercer’s alt-right shit-stirring will forever hang fire as well, stymied by its own ineptitude but never backing down from expressing itself in thoughtless destruction.
So this white guy, 70 years old, came to my yard sale, and somehow we got on the subject of the current POTUS.
This guy has one eye. Thinks women shouldn’t vote, only property owners. Knows more about women than I do. Meteorology is not a science and climate change doesn’t exist; he listened to a radio program that said all the NASA satellites circling the Earth haven’t detected any changes in temperature. US involvement in the winning of WWs I & II is exaggerated. US is the only country to invade another one - Japan - and give it back to them. (I mentioned the Native Americans, and he said, “We were already here.”) And the current POTUS isn’t such a bad guy, despite hanging around with Jeffrey Epstein.
Also a female supporter of the current POTUS, but she disagreed re the voting bit (we talked about it rationally, whereas Guy #1 I wanted to order off of my property); her issue was abortion, but she didn’t say whether she was for or against it, and I didn’t ask.
Neither of them bought anything, either.
Ugh… so you basically wasted your time listening to conspiracy theory bullshit for nothing… thanks gramps…
He did stop and look like he was thinking when I brought up the JE connection; at first, he was all, “Oh that’s just what they SAY!”; then I said, “Are you going to discount the testimony of all those girls?” almost to the point of jabbing him in the chest with a kni…er, I mean my finger.
And “I may be the exception, but…” - I told him, “NO, I’m not - I know LOTS of women who aren’t idiots who vote for a guy just cos he’s ‘cute’.” (He mentioned that re us not deserving the right to vote). I shoulda said, “Well, the current POTUS may or may’nt be a lot of things, but he’s SHORE NOT CUTE!”
Don’t ya just hate it when the best answers come later on? And ya neverevereverever remember them for the next similar occasion they would’ve suited?
Lets hope those guys are going extinct. Or at least endangered.
My best comebacks are also too late.
I know we started off well, talking about Jimi Hendrix (! I KNOW, RIGHT? !), and I’m not sure how it got to the current POTUS; I said something, then he said, “Oh, you don’t like him? I think he’s okay.” or something like that.
I HOPE he didn’t reproduce.
I love how he puts those in opposing camps when 1. Women have owned property for thousands of years – it was only in the 19th century that was severely curtailed and 2. The lines of him probably would not be “property owners” in the system he envisions.
Did, perchance, the charming subject of slavery come up?
Maybe it’s better that it didn’t.
Not really a surprise, but there it is.
