That is exactly what he would do. Trump taking the heat gives McConnell some cover. He’s nearing lost-cause status.
And once Biden’s elected he would, if Biden’s the type of tool I think he is, happily use McConnell for cover as he stomps on the left. We’ll burn that bridge when we get there.
