Someone from this broadcast did that too. I think it’s just because there’s been a Queen for so long, y’know? And I think it’s when they switch to images of Buckingham Palace that the slip is made, not sure.
She favored cake hats, too.

@Lucy_Gothro1 She was the inheritor of the empire, with all the destruction, deprivation, violence and genocide that entails, and I won’t defend her morality on the world stage and at home, but I can’t deny that her hat game was immaculate, as was her subtle language of the brooch.
